Our objective
Strengthen the capacities of the inhabitants and leaders of two rural communities in the formulation and evaluation of public investment projects within the framework of the invierte.pe system.
We rehabilitate amunas, qochas and bofedales that recharge water to the subsoil, strengthening communities and water reserves.
We train leaders and young people committed to water, promoting programs that educate, inspire and promote sustainability.
We strengthen food security with technified irrigation and sustainable practices that care for the environment and ecosystems.
We develop projects that provide safe, quality water, improving health and reducing water gaps.
Political, social, economic and administrative processes and structures used to develop, regulate and manage water resources.
We encourage companies to manage water sustainably, strengthening their competitiveness and generating shared value in the territories where they operate.
Together with our partner CBC Peru, we developed for the 5th consecutive year the Public Investment Seedbed Program, an initiative that promotes the mobilization of government resources to expand the investment bank in projects for planting and harvesting water and natural infrastructure.
The program involved the participation of the rural communities of Callahuanca and Chaclla, together with their local governments. The methodology applied included a series of workshops where project proposals were developed to respond to the water and environmental needs of each territory, as well as an internship that allowed participants to learn about the successful experiences of communities that have been working on water planting and harvesting projects.
As a result, we generated project idea sheets aligned with the gaps in the Environment and Agriculture sectors, which were registered in the National System of Multiannual Programming and Investment Management (invierte.pe) in coordination with the Multiannual Investment Programming Office (OPMI) of each local government.
