In the Rimac river basin, a vital source for Lima and Callao, water demand far exceeds availability. Climate change aggravates this situation, putting millions of people and the ecosystems that sustain us at risk. Faced with this challenge, Aquafondo promotes the Water Guardians Seedbed, an educational initiative that sows environmental awareness in children and adolescents in rural schools.
184 schoolchildren
adopt a new water culture.
22 educated teachers
in water culture and environmental education.
4 educational communities
involved in the project.
2 learning resources
generated and donated to the educational communities.
Your company can be part of this movement by funding the expansion of the Semillero to more than 1,500 schoolchildren in seven rural districts. Each investment translates into more young people trained as environmental leaders, multiplying the impact on entire households and communities.
