Our objective
To train future leaders through the sensitization of children and adolescents to provide knowledge, values and capacity for action in favor of the environment and in the face of climate change.
We rehabilitate amunas, qochas and bofedales that recharge water to the subsoil, strengthening communities and water reserves.
We train leaders and young people committed to water, promoting programs that educate, inspire and promote sustainability.
We strengthen food security with technified irrigation and sustainable practices that care for the environment and ecosystems.
We develop projects that provide safe, quality water, improving health and reducing water gaps.
Political, social, economic and administrative processes and structures used to develop, regulate and manage water resources.
We encourage companies to manage water sustainably, strengthening their competitiveness and generating shared value in the territories where they operate.
Together with Backus, the German development cooperation implemented by GIZ, and The Nature Conservancy, we have been developing the awareness-raising program “Semilleros de Guardianes del Agua”, which is part of the project “Rehabilitación de amunas para mejorar la disponibilidad de agua en la región de Lima, Amunas develoPPP” (Rehabilitation of amunas to improve water availability in the Lima region).
The program is aimed at schools in 4 districts of the province of Huarochirí and its purpose is to form citizens aware of environmental care and the urgency of taking action in the face of climate change. In order to achieve a progressive learning process, each session has a purpose that is articulated with the competencies, capacities and performances established in the National Curricula of Basic Education.
