We continue strengthening business leadership in sustainable water management. As part of the outreach activities for the Water Responsible Company (EHR) Seal LATAM 2026, we held the virtual event “Corporate Water Management: Experiences for Water Security,” a knowledge-sharing forum that brought together companies and organizations from Peru, Chile, and Argentina interested in learning about initiatives that are generating tangible results in water security.
The event took place within the framework of the open calls for the Water Responsible Company Seal 2026 in Chile, Argentina, and Peru, an initiative that recognizes corporate projects with verifiable impact on water management, climate resilience, and the sustainable development of territories.

Success stories from the EHR Seal Peru
During the event, we shared experiences from Peruvian companies recognized in the 2025 EHR Seal edition, demonstrating how innovation, efficient water management, and corporate commitment can generate environmental, social, and economic benefits.
- Netafim Peru, with the project “Making Every Drop Count,” focused on promoting innovative solutions to optimize water use in agriculture.
- Fenix Power, with the initiative “Seawater That Changes Lives,” aimed at expanding access to water through sustainable technological solutions.
- Newmont, with the project “Water for Cajamarca,” an initiative that contributes to improving water availability and strengthening local development.
Through these case studies, we learned about the challenges, lessons learned, and results achieved by companies that have integrated water management as a strategic component of their operations.
Corporate water management as a driver of change
The experiences shared demonstrated that sustainable water management is no longer just an environmental responsibility, but a strategic decision that helps strengthen the resilience, competitiveness, and sustainability of organizations.
They also highlighted how the private sector can play a key role in building more resilient territories in the face of climate change challenges and the growing pressure on water resources.

A regional initiative for water security
The event was organized by Aquafondo, together with the Asociación Chilena de Desalación y Reúso (ACADES), AWUA, the Cámara Argentina del Agua, and GWP Sudamérica, creating a learning and knowledge-sharing platform that strengthens regional collaboration around sustainable water management.
At Aquafondo, we promote the Water Responsible Company (EHR) Seal as a platform to recognize, showcase, and strengthen corporate initiatives that generate a real impact on water security.
With a presence in Peru, Chile, and Argentina, the EHR Seal continues to establish itself as a regional benchmark that promotes the exchange of best practices, innovation, and business leadership in water stewardship.
