We are Aquafondo, the Water Fund for Lima and Callao, a multi-sectoral articulation platform that mobilizes resources to conserve, protect and restore the watersheds of the Chillon, Rimac and Lurin rivers, and thus contribute to the continuous provision of quality water for the users of these watersheds.
We connect science, investment and ancestral knowledge. We promote conservation and restoration projects in the watersheds that supply Lima, mobilizing resources and alliances so that every drop counts. Our work is guided by transparency, good governance and an ongoing commitment to equity and inclusion.
The Board of Directors is responsible for institutional management, as well as ensuring that Aquafondo's goals are achieved. This body is joined by the Advisory Council and the Scientific Committee, which provide strategic advice and technical rigor. Together, they form a multi-sector governance model that strengthens transparency, technical soundness and the impact of our actions.
At Aquafondo, our team is fundamental. Thanks to the commitment of each collaborator, we make possible the fulfillment of our objectives and the impact we generate for water and the well-being of the community.
We encourage companies to manage water sustainably, strengthening their competitiveness and generating shared value in the territories where they operate.
