As part of its institutional anniversary, Aquafondo celebrated 15 years of work with a special event in San Pedro de Casta, reaffirming its commitment to water security in Lima and Callao.
The event brought together Aquafondo’s technical team, private sector partners, public institutions, and community leaders, creating a space to strengthen coordination among key stakeholders for sustainable water management.
Water security and collective action in the face of climate change
During the field visit, Aquafondo’s progress and lessons learned in implementing Nature-Based Solutions were highlighted—an essential strategy to address climate change challenges and the growing pressure on water resources.
Sustainable water management requires combining capacities, building trust, and advancing with shared goals. In this sense, this space helped consolidate partnerships and strengthen joint work with communities and organizations committed to ecosystem conservation.
Partners contributing to water stewardship
The celebration included the participation of representatives from national and international organizations, who bring experience, knowledge, and commitment to the collective effort for water.
