Corporate water management is a strategic element for building more resilient territories in the face of climate change challenges. With this purpose, we held the 2nd LATAM Event: “Corporate Water Management: Experiences for Water Security,” a virtual meeting that brought together representatives from companies in Peru, Chile, and Argentina to share experiences that demonstrate how the private sector can actively contribute to water security.

The EHR Seal as a space for sharing experiences
During the event, organizations recognized with the 2025 Water Responsible Company (EHR) Seal presented projects that are generating positive impacts in the territories where they operate.
Through their experiences, they demonstrated that strategic water management not only strengthens the sustainability of their operations but also creates shared value for communities and ecosystems.

Representatives from Newmont ALAC, Softys, IDE Technologies, Fenix, and PepsiCo participated in this edition, sharing initiatives aimed at improving water efficiency, driving innovation, and promoting sustainable solutions to address water-related challenges.

Partnerships to Strengthen Water Management Across Latin America
Each of these experiences demonstrated that collaboration among companies, communities, and specialized organizations is essential to strengthening water governance and accelerating the adoption of best corporate water management practices across Latin America.
The cases presented also served as inspiration for organizations interested in applying for the 2026 Water Responsible Company (EHR) Seal.

This event was made possible through the joint efforts we promote alongside the Argentine Chamber of Water (ACADES) and AWUA, our strategic partners with whom we foster knowledge exchange and regional collaboration to strengthen corporate water management across Latin America.

At Aquafondo, we are convinced that sharing successful experiences is a powerful tool for accelerating collective action. For this reason, we will continue promoting spaces for dialogue and learning that strengthen the private sector’s commitment to water security and contribute to a more resilient future for Latin America.
